Take US 1 north to 95 north to I 295 north to I95 North to Bangor to route 395 east to alternate 1 to Ellsworth. From Ellsworth, follow Route-3 toward Bar Harbor. After crossing onto Mt Desert Island, bear right and follow Route-102 through historic Somesville and continue to Southwest Harbor. Proceed to the center of town and then turn left on Clark Point Road. Continue to Harbour Cottage Inn on the left side of the road atop Dirigo hill overlooking Southwest Harbor.

From Portland Maine
